Pastor Derrick Norris became Mililani Baptist's fourth pastor in 2005 and immediately spread his enthusiasm for God's Kingdom and missions throughout the membership.
He led Mililani Baptist to become an Acts 1:8 church and sparked our F.A.I.T.H. program to new heights. A skilled communicator, he preaches the entire Gospel understandably and with conviction. As a result, Mililani Baptist's membership has grown to be the largest in the Hawaii-Pacific Baptist Convention, a convention leader in baptisms and in giving to the Southern Baptist Cooperative Program.
Derrick earned his Masters in Theological Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He came to Mililani Baptist after successful pastorates in California and Kentucky. He retired from the United States Navy. Derrick is an avid golfer and guitarist.
Derrick is married to Rebecca and they have been married 31 years, have two boys and three grandchildren.

| Dan Van Alstine is the Senior Associate Pastor of Mililani Baptist Church assisting the Senior Pastor in Preaching, Pastoral Care, and the Education ministries of the church. He also serves as our FAITH Ministry Director enlisting and training people in FAITH. Dan was raised in Arizona and came to Mililani from Highland Hill Baptist Church, Tacoma Washington where he served as Ministries Director. Dan has been on staff here since 1985 serving the church, association, state, Southern Baptist Convention and more importantly the Lord in many different areas.
Dan’s joy is his wife Debbie and daughter Amy. Dan’s passion is teaching God’s Word and equipping the saints for ministry. Dan’s heart is to be a servant like his master Jesus.
